Compassion International Ethiopia/CIET
Compassion International Ethiopia is one of the major partners which are actively working with the Ethiopian Kale Heywet Church Development Commission/EKHCDC. CIET is known in its focus on children and support to their holistic development. The organization is supporting about 100 projects in EKHCDC. However, following the recent crisis in northern Ethiopia, CIET engaged in Emergency Response Missions to save the lives of internally displaced people/IDPs with food and non-food items distributions.
- Amhara Region: North Shoa Emergency Response Food Assistance: CIET donated the distribution of full packages of food and non-food items to 22,959 IDPs/1600HHs for one months at Mehal-Meda and Menz-Gera Mider in the year 2021/22. Phase One
- Amhara Region: North Wello/Kobo Emergency Response Food Assistance: CIET supported a full package food distribution to 32,800 IDPs/1600HHs and supply of water point rehabilitation materials in the year 2022. Phase Two
